Get Up To Speed (GUTS) Initiative

Attending a City Council meeting or workshop is one of the fastest ways to Get Up To Speed (GUTS) on what is happening in Newport! 

Join INvolve Newport at an upcoming Council meeting as part of the organization’s GUTS Initiative.

Walking into a Council meeting can be intimidating and having a contact waiting will facilitate that process. Whether you have a specific issue you are interested in or just want to be better informed as Election Day approaches, an INvolve Newport board member will meet you and other residents at the meeting and can provide context for issues and processes.  An optional stop at a local pub afterward to debrief is a popular political tradition!!  For more information or to RSVP please email info@involvenewport.org.
